My journey into storytelling
I have always enjoyed telling stories. Writing gives me the chance to create characters, worlds, and adventures that people can lose themselves in for a while. The greatest reward is knowing that someone has enjoyed one of my books, whether it made them smile, think, feel something deeply, or simply escape for a few hours. For me, writing has never been about sales or recognition; it is about sharing stories and connecting with readers through them.

Unique inspirations for unique stories
What makes my writing unique is that it comes from two very different passions. On one side, I write thrillers and historical fiction inspired by my fascination with history, human nature, and the difficult choices ordinary people face in extraordinary situations. I am less interested in superheroes and larger-than-life characters than I am in flawed people trying to do the right thing when the odds are against them.

Stories of kindness and connection
On the other side, my children's books are inspired by real experiences at a riding centre, the special bond between people and animals, and the importance of kindness, patience, and inclusion. Seeing the confidence and joy that horses can bring to children has had a huge influence on my storytelling.
Whether I am writing a Cold War spy novel, a wartime mystery, or a story about a small Jack Russell helping at a riding school, the common thread is the same: I love telling stories about ordinary individuals finding courage, hope, and connection.
This book had you on the edge of your seat, the story was very exciting with many twists and turns. brilliant writing. This was the final book of a trilogy. Each book had the same thrill about them making you wanting to read more.
I’m looking forward to reading more books from this new author.
